New Year and Papang's Birthday

December 31 is my papang's birthday. I don't want to tell you how old he is ,just look at his picture. Libog ko what to give to my other half kay pilian ra ba siya kaayo. But i need to give him something cause it's his birthday. And you know what i bought , i bought 3 nivea moisturizing cream (3 for 2 offer) and 3 small perfume (3 for 2 offer as well). When my husband opened his presents cge siya katawa ngano daw i bought him loads of cream and perfume and i told him it's an offer.

We have had a small party at our house with our close friends. Thanks to my hubby for cooking the food maski guikan ka nag-night.

Christmas Eve

We have had our Christmas Party at Babilonia's Residence. Gamay na lang mi nga family karon nga Christmas because some of our close family friend already migrate to other country. But even though gamay na lang mi we really enjoyed this Christmas we played how will you knew your wife/husband for the mama and papa (thanks to ate Brea and ate Coleen for their wonderful idea ) , pass on pass on for the kids and disco for all.
We also give our gifts to our children at around midnight.

Third Day of our Journey to Butuan

San Juanico Bridge between Samar and Leyte Province. Considered as one one of the most beautifully-designed bridges in the Philippines. It is the longest bridge in the country, spanning more than 2 kilometers above the sea. Completed in 1973, the building fo the bridge was initiated by Former President Ferdinand Marcos. MY husband is standing in San Juanico Bridge taking video for souvenir.

When we reach San Juanico Bridge all my girls are sleeping. When i woke them up to take some picture they all moaned. As you can see May -may on this picture hubag pa ang mata kay bag -o lang nagmata.

Ate our breakfast at Jolibee in Calbayog City. We stop on this city not only to eat but to be fix our car as well. One of the brake pad need changing because the road from Samar to Calbayog City is very rocky road. What i meant is that road is so lubak lubak . The driver always used the brake so frequently when we arrived in Calbayog one of the tire is already smoking. We are just so lucky that we reach the city that someone could fix the car kay kung sa tunga tunga me nadautan we don't know unsa amo buhaton.The face of the owner of the car is really worried kay basig dili na makabot sa Butuan ang sakyanan tungod sa kadaot sa dalan. My husband said if he only knew that the road is so lubak lubak he won't dare to travel by land. It takes us 3 hours drive from Samar to Calbayog City.

We slept in one of the Travel lodge in Samar. The lodge we slept is near the sea. We woke up around 4am to start our second journey in going to our place Butuan City. My girls enjoying the view of the sea side.

It's our first ferry boat ride of our journey. This is the first boat ride of my children and they are all excited. While we are on the top of the ferry boat,we can see the children swimming on the sea and asking to throw some money on them. The children shouting " ate,pambaon lang bukas" (sister, just pocket money for school tomorrow). My children amazed when they saw the kids on the sea.

Land Travel to Butuan City

Land travel from Manila to Butuan City, it takes as 2 nights and 3 days. Our first stopover is this manificient Mount Mayon (the perfect cone). This is the Mount Mayon Volcano in Daraga, Albay. The majestic Mount Mayon is world-famous for it's perfectly-shaped cone. It rises 2,422 meters from it's broad base radius of 10km. It is still considered to be an active volcano, it's last eruption being in 2006. Mount Mayon's most violent recorded eruption was in February 1, 1814 where thousands of people perished and hundreds of acres of land were covered with volcanic lava and dark ash.

My gorgeous husband is posing on this cross sign. This cross sign you will see this every time you take a corner in going up to Mount Mayon. My lovely daughter's is all out smile. At their back is the top of Mount Mayon. It's too foggy you can't really see the tip of the volcano.

We slept in LC Travelodge in Bicol for a night and in the morning we will start again our journey.

This is my housemate Emilie. She's a nurse here in England but at the moment she's on 2 years career leave. We visit them on their place in Cavite. She's 5 months pregnant on that picture but now she already gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Kaymig Restaurant and swimming

We ate our supper on this Kaymig Restaurant. Outside of this restaurant is small market wherein you will buy a fresh fish tapos you'll just give to to the restaurant kung saan ka kakain and just tell them anong luto ang gusto mo. The food is perfect.

As you can see May-may is all smile enjoying her pure buko juice.

Their second buko juice . You can see the table halos ubos ang mga plato dahil masarap talaga ang luto nila.

Look at Quisha and May -may you can see on their faces that they really enjoyed the pool. We saw Marnie on the pool Ate Marilyn and Kuya Arnie's daughter, maliit lang talaga ang mundo. This pool is one of the amenities of the hotel.
We stayed at Manor Hotel, this hotel is superb. the staff are all friendly, nice and accomodating. The rooms are neat and tidy. Its really worth the money you payed for. So if you're looking for a hotel in Manila i really recommend this hotel.

Still on our second day of our holiday. My girls enjoying the pool eventhough it's raining.

Second Day July 19

It's our second day, what we did first things in the morning after we've done our breakfast we went to Duty Free Shopping Centre. We just bought chocolates for pasalubong for my loveones. I don't realize that chocolates at Duty Free is so expensive than here. But that's alright it's for my family and friends.
There's nothing so exciting we did on this day because we are still tired from our flight. After we did our shopping we went back to our hotel for a beauty rest while my husband and his brother are looking for some accessories for the car that his brother bought.

As you can see in this picture they are all blind playing the Rondalla at the Duty Free . Even thought they are all blind but they played marvelous. I think this is the only livelihood they've got.And you can see there's a small box in front of them and you can give any amount .

First Supper

After the show we are all starving. We ate our first supper at President Tea house located at Mall of Asia Seaside. The food is great at Pinoy na Pinoy talaga.

Quisha is enjoying the food. While May-may is concentrating on her food.

These are the food that we ordered. We ordered a buffet good for 10 persons as you can see grabe ang dami pala. We didn't even manage to eat half of these.

Our Arrival

On our arrival we just dropped our luggage at the Hotel and then we when to Philippine Gaming Corporation(PAGCOR) immediately because we are catching an INTERNATIONAL VARIETY SHOW . WE are so tired and hungry but we've got no more time to eat or else we can't catch up the show. But it's all worth it, the show is fantastic and it's breathtaking. And it's my first time to watch a live show like that. My children are so glad and amazed at the show.And one more thing it's for FREE courtesy of my husband's brother.

Our arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and i'm so glad that i'm here again in my country. Just imagine hindi ko nakita ang Philippines for more than 4 years. So.im really excited and i can wait to go to my hometown and be united with my family. I can't imagine what their reactions when they will saw us .

The first word that came out from Quisha's mouth is "mum, i'm boiling" . We just all laugh . And i just told her this is Philippines at ito ang climate nila.Because she can feel that her arm is so sticky and she's sweat a lot.

MY husband's brother is the one who picked us at the airport.

We've got 2 stop over Kuwait and Thailand. It's 5 hours stop over in Kuwait can you imagine it,it's 5 hours. So,what we did we just roam around the airport and do some window shopping as well.Wala mi napalit beacuase grabe kaayo kamahal ang mga baligya.In Thailand it's only an hour and we just stayed inside the plane. And you know one of the passenger from Kuwait to Philippines is keep on shouting. Nabulabug na nga ang mga pasahero dahil sa ingay niya. She's speaking in aramic so.i ask one of the Filipino passenger who can understand arabic. You know what she told me she said nga giabuso daw siya sa iya amo beacause she's talking about money,take off your clothes. But i don't know what happen to her because binaba siya sa Thailand.I'm just praying that she's in the good hand in Thailand,i'm really feel sorry for that girl.

July 17,2008 is our flight to Philippines. We are all excited because it's our first holiday to Philippines as a family. And in fact because of are excitement we didn't sleep the night before our departure.

My husband family knew that we're coming home.We just inform them cause my mother in law has a problem in the heart so we don't want her get shock of our presence.

This picture is taking before they came here in England that was 4 years ago. My eldest in the middle she's only 7 years old, my second daughter on the right is only 5 years old and my youngest on the left is only 2 years old. Next week we're going to have our first holiday as a family to Philippines.
This is my eldest , she's 11 years old now.
My second daughter,she's 10 years old.
My youngest she's 6 years old.

We are all ready and packed up for our holiday next week. WE're just waiting for the our departure day.My husband asked us why we bring all our clothes as if dili nami balik diri ( we're not come back here). I reply to him, it's a month holiday and we need different clothes everyday. Just imagine we've got 5 luggages and 3 small suite case for our hand carry.

Our family back home don't know that we're coming home aside from my husband's brother. My brother -in-law will pick us up at the airport. We want to surprise our family back home para makit an namo unsa ila reaction when they will see us infront of them.

I think my mother- in -law feels that were going home because last Friday my husband phoned my mother- in -law just to check how they are, and she asked my husband kung pwede mi manguli karong bulana (if we could go visit them this month). Just imagine paulion gyud dayon me ( if we could go home immediately)as if naa ra mi sa duol( we live near by).MY husband just keep on smiling because he don't know what to say.

I can't wait the day when we arrived in my hometown BUTUAN CITY.

Amy is coming to England

The Mariano family left England 7 months ago. They are one of the closest family we have had here in England. We shared the same faith. And amy and i both love shopping. And we really feel sad when they moved to Canada. But we always keep in touch through phone or internet chatting.

Amy called this morning informing me that she's coming over here to sort out the exchange of their house mortgage. I can't wait to see her again 'cause i really miss Amy's company. She's going to call me again latter tonight or tomorrow morning to confirm her flight.

Strawberry picking

Every time my friends talked about
strawberry picking I really envy them. Because they said that you can eat while picking and you can eat as much as you like.
When Porsela and Ricky came to our house for a visit they told us that they went for strawberry picking. When i heard it,
i fell so excited and ask them the address of the place. But they are so kind that they went with us.
When we saw the strawberry we are all excited and one of my daughter just pick what she wants eventhough it's not yet ripe. The strawberry is so sweet . So we ate and ate and ate as much as we want. We really enjoyed picking and we are planning to go back.

Treat my husband

Me and my husband went shopping last Wednesday. We went to Freeport Braintree to buy him a present for Father's day. Eventhought i don't have much money but still i treat him beacause he told me i didn't give him a nice present nga naa nako trabaho (that i have already a job) . Well that's true that i don't buy him something expensive but i always buy him something just like brief (he..he..hee) or chocolate. I let my husband choose what he want and told him skies is the limit (joke... joke... joke...). But in the back of my mind said that buy only few things because my husband love signature things.Lucky me he only bought two things because if he chooses loads i'll be in a big big trouble (gamay ra ako kwarta ). Just imagine he bought a long sleeve in Burberry ( so posh!) and a polo shirt in Tommy (grabe!). And me i only bought 3 crop ankle jeans from my favorite shop NEXT (wala man gud kaayo sale).

Father's Day

Tomorrow is Father's Day so me and my kids went to town to buy something for their father. I'm really confused what to buy because my husband is a bit fussy. We shop from one shop to another shop until we're tired and still don't know what to buy . So,we ended up to buy a card, a mug and a teddy bear. And I told my girls not to tell their dad that we bought something for him. But me and my kids bought loads for ourselves he...he...he. I bought 3 tops for me and 2 shoes.For my girls tops and shoes as well. And when my husband ask us what we bought for him we just smiled and said nothing. My husband just shook his head. And you know what my youngest daugther did, she whispered to her dad that we bought something for him ( cheeky girl!). We plan to surprised their dad for tomorrow but it's all ruin. But that's alright i know that my husband knew that we've got something for him for tomorrow's Father's day.

This is our present for my husband ( so cheap!) but i told my husband that i'm going to treat him on his off duty.

It has been a long long time that my children longing for holiday to Disneyland Paris. And now their desire will come to reality because tomorrow we're going to disneyland Paris. I went to town centre and had my sterling pound money changed to euro and was a bit shocked when i looked at the value of pound is almost the same with euro. An sterling pound is equivalent to 1.14 euro which means english people going for holiday to other european country can be more expensive at this present time.
